Can it already be Thursday?
Life just speeds by so fast. I want to find a few extra hours each day just so I can sit down and breathe.

This morning I was supposed to have a board meeting for LDS-NHA but it didn't happen so I was woefully unprepared to teach my kids this morning. I took them as far as I knew in our Mexican-American War (we are about to declare war) and in our science curriculum (we have learned all the ways something can be fossilized) too. We did our core and then we had lunch.

I left for therapy and gave instructions for the kids to get their math done, but since it was a very sunny warm day I knew they weren't going to get any of that done. I was right and they spent this evening catching up on their math and other things they do by themselves. Oh, well. I don't blame them. They can come inside when it is dark to get their math done, but they can't go roller blading when it is dark--well at least not safely.

I will spend tonight getting ahead in my reading so I can be prepared for days like today.
