Spreading our LYTTS
This fall another mother and I put our heads together and came up with an idea to help our teens grow and become leaders. We put together a group called LYTTS (pronounced "lights"). We have them over at my house every two weeks.
Tonight was one of those nights. It was a great night. They started off by playing some games while they waited for everyone to gather and then Steve started the "Dad's Den" portion with a discussion on education. I honestly hope that the kids understand that education is very important for the rest of their life. I hope they will take charge of their education sooner than later.
We ended playing more games, eating cookies, drinking pop and having fun.
