Our First Week

It is hard to put something down each day, so I'm going to do a week in review.

If this week is a view of things to come then we are going to have a spectacular year. My kids eagerly got to their studies and did them. I didn't give them to much, easing them into it, but they still were eager to get to their studies.

They kids LOVE the Portuguese class with dad and are studying the vocabulary list he gave them this week. We are even using a few of the familiar phrases during the day.

We are getting to the end of the Civil War study and are loading up with documentaries on the Civil War. We are finishing "North and South" and next week will watch "Gettysburg."

The other stuff: grammar, logic, Latin & Greek, math, spelling, etc. just seemed to fall in place this week.

Next week will be another story, but I sure hope not.
