We had a great day. We got a chapter done on the skeletal system and started and experiment on a chicken bone. It is sitting in a jar of vinegar. We will be see what happens to it over the next 6 days. This should be fun.

We got our grammar pages caught up and talked about the short stories that are due tomorrow.

We then spent some time discussing slavery, in particular the part of Roots we have seen so far. We then had lunch and watched another hour of Roots before Kray had to run to his class and I to my doctor appointment.

I came home to find the kids all wonderfully playing outside so I left them there and got ready for soccer.

Off to soccer to end the day.
