This morning we watched the last disc in "Slavery and the Making of America." Next week we will discuss what we have seen and heard. I hope to continue reading "Uncle Tom's Cabin" next week.
Today the kids preformed a lot of service for me and our ward. I'm our ward's Activity Chair and I put on an activity once a month. This year our ward celebrated our 20th birthday. Well, I threw a birthday party and my kids helped me decorate for it.
Kray, Jason and I spent a good couple of hours making balloon columns. It was actually fun to do it. Kray learned how to make balloon columns from watching the show "Mythbusters" and he made 8 forty balloon columns! I think our hands will smell like latex for quite sometime.
The party was a smash hit!
