Terrible Wednesday
Today we called in a substitute as I was just to sick to teach. My throat hurts and every two minutes I have a coughing attack. We watched a lot of the Olympics coverage and gained an education in the sport of Curling (it is tougher than it sounds) and then we watched a bunch of PBS shows we have had saved on our TiVo. The weather was awesome today, but I couldn't handle the muddy mess that would have been brought in by the kids so I said, "No building the fort, but you can ride your bikes."

I climbed into bed and let the kids fend for themselves. Since my oldest is 14 there isn't a problem. I did run my three little ones out to Duvall for a movement class and do a bit of computer stuff, but for the most part I took it easy.

I think tomorrow I will need a substitute again. I just hope I can keep my eyes open to see what the substitute will teach. Today I think we learned about curling, hockey, Vikings, Bears, and I'm not sure what else because I feel asleep.

Tonight is Scout and the Blue and Gold Dinner. At least dinner is taken care of.

Doreen
